Students across the East Riding are today, Thursday 13th August, receiving their A-Level, T-Level and BTEC results.
Councillor Victoria Aitken, cabinet member for children, families and education said: “I want to congratulate all our students as they receive their results.
“I hope they are delighted with their achievements, and I wish them every success for the future, whether they are continuing their education, starting an apprenticeship or training programme, or taking the next step into employment.
“I’d like to thank our outstanding teachers, support staff and education professionals, whose commitment helps young people to thrive and achieve their ambitions.”
Gavin Chappell, Headteacher at Beverley Grammar School and Sharon Japp, Headteacher at Beverley High School said: “We are really proud of our Beverley J6 students; they are celebrating some amazing achievements this morning. We will be wishing them all the best as they move on to a wide range of destinations and opportunities, from apprenticeships to astrophysics and from Southampton to Oxbridge to Edinburgh. Huge congratulations from all the staff across both J6 sites.
David Perry, Headteacher at Longcroft School said: "We are incredibly proud of our young people and remain focused on ensuring they recognise and realise their extraordinary potential and have the belief and confidence to succeed in a complex and rapidly evolving world.”
The Key Stage 5 league tables will be published by the Department for Education in January 2027. This will include attainment and progress measures for A-levels, T-levels, BTECs and diplomas.
