A Beverley skincare specialist and director of an industry networking organisation has organised an online seminar to review psychodermatology claims and market analysis and to explore scientific opportunities.
In her capacity as director, research and innovation pillar for Cosmetics Cluster UK Ltd (CCUK) and lead of the Psychodermatology in Personal Care Task Force, Dr Katerina Steventon will chair and speak at the one-day ‘Bringing Psychodermatology into Personal Care and Neurocosmetics’ webinar on 2nd October.
The half-day event will bring together experts from across science, industry, market intelligence and regulatory affairs to explore the evolving relationship between skin health, the brain and wellbeing. It is designed to appeal to neuroscientists, skincare innovators, regulators, ingredient suppliers and brands.
The webinar will open with Dr. Steventon discussing future trends with Andrew McDougall from Mintel. Thereafter, a series of industry experts will address some of the important questions facing the growing psychodermatology industry, including What does the evidence reveal? How can this science translate into credible cosmetic innovation? What claims can be supported? And where do the regulatory boundaries lie?.
“As interest in psychodermatology, neurocosmetics and the skin–brain axis continues to grow, this event will examine both the scientific opportunity and important industry questions,” said Dr. Steventon.
The webinar takes place between 1.30 and 4.00 pm on 2nd October and is free to join. Reserve a place online at https://bit.ly/CCUKWebinar.
