Beverley’s biggest-ever Christmas Tree Festival
Mon 2nd December 2024Wednesday 4th - Sunday 8th December 2024
Get ready for the most magical event of the season. This year's Christmas Tree Festival is coming to Beverley Minster, and it’s bigger and better than ever.
Over 150 stunning Christmas trees will fill the medieval church, each one decorated by charities, schools, businesses, and local groups from the community. Every tree will be unique, with its own special theme, so you’ll want to see them all.
While you’re visiting, enjoy some delicious festive treats like hot chocolate, mulled wine, and mince pies. Perfect for sipping and snacking as you wander around the glowing trees.
Make Your Own Christmas Centre-Piece
This year, the Christmas Tree Festival offers something new and exciting—festive table centrepiece workshops. Join the experts from Beverley Flower Club on Friday 6th or Saturday 7th December to create your very own Christmas table decoration. You’ll even get a hot chocolate or mulled wine, plus a mince pie,
while you work your magic. Spaces are limited, so book ahead to guarantee your spot. You can do this on the Minster website.
Extended Opening Hours & Quiet Times
To give everyone a chance to experience the 5-day festival, the Minster has extended their opening hours. ‘Last entry’ time for each day means visitors will have 30 minutes to enjoy the event before closing.
There will be Quiet Sessions on Wednesday 4th, Thursday 5th and Friday 6th at 9am for an hour, for neurodiverse visitors who may struggle with the crowds and noise at other times of the festival.
This much-loved festival offers something for everyone, whether you're looking to admire the creativity of the decorated trees, support local organisations, or simply get into the Christmas spirit with your family and friends.
