The much-loved Beverley Open Studios returns this October, inviting visitors to explore the creativity of more than 40 local artists across 25 venues in Beverley and the surrounding area. The event takes place over two weekends – 4–5 October and 11–12 October 2025 – from 10am to 4pm, with free entry for all.
Beverley Open Studios offers a unique opportunity to step inside artists’ studios, meet makers face-to-face, and discover the inspiration and techniques behind their work. Visitors will be able to view and purchase a wide variety of original pieces, including painting, ceramics, sculpture, jewellery, printmaking, and photography.
‘I always love to be part of Beverley Open Studios as it gives me the opportunity to show visitors the whole process of making art from sketchbook and lino to finished works. I love showing all of the tools of my trade and chatting through how things are made and giving mini demonstrations. I see the Open Studios as a celebration of a year’s creativity so there is always cake!’ Claire West, artist and Salt Gallery manager.
In addition to studio visits, several participating artists will also be exhibiting in local galleries, including Art & Soul Beverley, Eastgate Studios, Salt Gallery, and Gallery 21.
With such a broad mix of styles and mediums, Beverley Open Studios promises something to suit every taste and budget.
