Beverley care provider's pride after glowing report from inspectors
Tue 4th February 2020Staff at a Beverley care company are celebrating after a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission.
Helping Hands, which provides at-home care for customers across Hull and East Yorkshire, was rated good in all areas after a CQC inspection in December.
Branch manager Jennie Falconer said: “I am extremely proud of what the team have achieved in Beverley and Hull. To go from opening our branch just over a year ago to employing 30 carers and providing 350 hours of care - and, of course, passing the CQC inspection with flying colours - is a tremendous achievement for everyone involved. It’s a testament to the work our carers do and really flattering that about 80% or our new customers come as a result of recommendations from existing customers and their families. Helping Hands, based in Butcher Row, opposite Marks & Spencer, is looking to add to its team of carers as customer demand increases in 2020.
Mrs Falconer said: “As a quality care provider we are always on the lookout for good staff. We recruit people with a caring nature along with reliability and flexibility to deliver an excellent service to our customers. In return we offer a generous hourly rate that is extremely competitive.”
