Over 100 people have applied for jobs at The Beverley Arms, as Thwaites puts together a hit team ready for its summer opening.
Three key roles have been advertised – for General Manager, Assistant Manager and Head Chef – and the company has attended recruitment days to generate interest in other roles in the boutique hotel.
Thwaites Operations Director, Steve Martin, said: “We couldn’t have wished for a better start to our recruitment activity – it’s really exciting.
“We have had so much interest already and I’d like to thank everyone who has sent in their CVs or approached us at recruitment events.
“We’re now in the process of interviewing for our three key people.
“It’s a really exciting opportunity for our successful trio as they will be able to hand pick a team to help launch this fantastic property.”
Thwaites will be attending further recruitment events in the Beverley and Hull area in April and May.
Once recruited, a training plan will be put in place so the team is ready for the official opening.
The North Bar Within boutique hotel is currently undergoing a multi-million pound transformation. When it opens this summer it will have 38 ensuite rooms, 2 private dining areas, restaurant, bar and courtyard.
