Another wonderful day celebrating our lovely town
Tue 19th May 2020East Riding Theatre are enjoying another wonderful day celebrating our lovely town. We enjoyed yet more beautiful artwork by Saskia Berkin. To see more prints from Saskia visit www.saskiaberkin.com
We were also treated to an array of fantastic original poetry by Mary Aherne, a brief introduction to Beverley Races from Malcolm Tomlinson, and an insight into some of 'The Extraordinary Women of Beverley'. Margaret Powell descended from some infamous architects, Margaret helped save many of Beverley's historic buildings and Nellie Collinson once the owner of The White Horse Inn, now affectionately known in the town as Nellies.
