Anna Gammans to visit Trent Galleries in Beverley On June 1st, 2pm - 4pm

Trent Galleries are looking forward to hosting Anna Gammans at 9 Butcher Row this June. Striking, dreamlike and vibrant are just three words you could use to describe her oil canvas’ … As a relative newcomer to the portfolio here, this year will be her first Tour, and Trent Galleries are delighted to be celebrating her gorgeous works as we build up to her joining the Gallery on Saturday 1st June.

Influenced by her artist mother from a young age, Anna gradually began to develop a creative response to her surroundings. Anna paints using an array of tools including brushes, sponges, palette knives and even her hands, letting her instinct take over. Each vibrant piece portrays the energy and emotion of the environment she studies, with exploding skies of dramatic colour often the focal point of her canvas.

As we build slowly towards the event, which is now only just ahead of us(!), do come to see a preview exhibition of her work at the gallery on Butcher Row and sample her glorious bursts of colour.

Below are the details you will need to come along to the event, and Trent Galleries truly hope you are able to join us on the Saturday to immerse yourself in her coastal scenes and meet the artist herself. The gallery will truly be awash with beautiful colour and texture … Be sure not to miss it!
