80th Commemoration of VE Day - Starting Thursday 8th May 2025

80th Commemoration Of Ve Day Starting Thursday 8th May 2025

The 80th Commemoration of VE Day is a moment of deep reflection, gratitude, and unity for veterans, families, and communities across the nation. Marking the end of World War II in Europe, VE Day honours the bravery, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served on the front lines and at home.

For veterans, it’s a time to remember fallen comrades and share stories of courage and endurance. For families, it’s a chance to reflect on the legacy of loved ones who played their part in securing peace. Communities come together to celebrate freedom, recognise shared history, and teach younger generations the value of remembrance.

The 80th VE Day Commemoration serves not only as a tribute to the past but as a powerful reminder of the strength and spirit that carried the nation through its darkest days. It’s a time to honour, connect, and ensure the legacy of VE Day lives on for future generations.
