East Yorkshire house builder shortlisted in prestigious industry awards

The team at an East Yorkshire independent housebuilder is celebrating after reaching the final of a property industry award.

Seaton based Ward Homes Yorkshire has been shortlisted in the Housebuilder of the Year category in the Insider's Yorkshire Property Industry Awards 2022.

Ward Homes Yorkshire's founder, Charles Ward is delighted with the news: "We pride ourselves on our reputation for building high quality, stylish, high specification and desirable housing and to have our developments recognised and respected by industry professionals is fantastic.

"Ward Homes Yorkshire is only six years old, but we have built on our reputation and credibility and now have two NHBC award-winning developments to our name. We're very proud to have been shortlisted in this highly competitive category against established businesses and are looking forward to the awards dinner next month."

The Ward Homes Yorkshire team face competition from Hull based Beal Homes, Leeds based Citu and Wetherby based Newett Homes. They will learn whether they have been successful at a black-tie awards dinner at the Royal Armouries on Thursday, 22nd September.

The Insider's Yorkshire Property Industry Awards are designed to showcase the best of the region's property industry. They are organised by Insider, the UK's most successful regional B2B media company.

Founded in 2016, Ward Homes Yorkshire is an award-winning independent house builder, dedicated to unique concepts, uncompromising design and quality property development in sought after locations throughout Hull and East Yorkshire.

Ward Homes Yorkshire's first development, The Pastures in Holme on Spalding Moor, was completed in July 2021 and was followed by a second development, Headstock Meadows in the East Yorkshire village of Preston. Both The Pastures and Headstock Meadows won NHBC Pride in the Job quality awards for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Work on a third development, The Folly, a 60-plot development in the popular seaside town of Hornsea, is due to start later this year.
