Fiona

WIN a Q&A with author Fiona Sandiford and a signed copy of her book "The Great Dodo Comeback"

For your chance to win a Q&A with the fantastic Fiona Sandiford, just click here to fill in the form to win! Her book is suitable for primary aged children from 6/7/8yrs. You will also receive a signed book if you win. Please note - session can be upgraded to a full virtual visit by the School. Competition ends on the 1st May.

As well as this opportunity to meet an author, an Usborne Organiser can also help set up a sponsored read for your school. This type of event really can transform your school library - Usborne Organiser's  have just completed one for St Anne's School in Brough where they managed to get £1700 worth of books for just £1105 of sponsorship money raised, needless to say they were extremely happy they decided to organise another event.

The new Summer Author List is now available, which is a great way to encourage reading and understanding and create a buzz around a book with your students. The author usually provides signed bookplates, which you can then use in the purchased books to use as prizes to complete creative writing work or literacy projects.

If you would like to know more about what Usborne Organisers can offer your school, such as book stalls at events and book fayres in the very near future, send an email to mail@usbornebooksathome.co.uk.
