Beverley Puppet Festival: w/c 29th June

This week's Beverley Puppet Festival online entertainment showcases...

Monday 29th June... INDIAN DANCING MARIONETTES with Indigo Moon Theatre (of Hull)

Learn to create and perform with your own simple dancing kathputli. Inspired by Saraswati, the dancing marionette of Rajasthan, use soft fabrics, pop socks, broken jewellery and other decorative items to make your own glittering star of Bollywood.

Wednesday 1st July... PAPER PUPPETS with Clive Chandler (of Birmingham)

‘Professor’ Clive Chandler gives us a glimpse into the madcap antics of his World-Famous Punch and Judy, and shows how to put together simple Paper Puppets with which you can have similar fun and entertain your friends.

Saturday 4th July... WRIGGLY POT PUPPETS with Garlic Theatre (of Norwich)

What can you discover when you look inside a pot? Bring to life your very own wriggly creature that pops out of a pot. Meet the friendly troll puppet from the woods who will join Mark and Iklooshar and help you make a wonderful puppet to dance with in the kitchen!

Sign up to the Beverley Puppet Festival here to get updates and join in!
