BEVERLEY SHOPWATCH

As shopwatch, the initiative between local police and Beverley retailers, continues to grow Shaun Dart looks forward to 2020. There are a number of things that would support the scheme even more to reinforce the great progress already made in striving to develop a tighter community.

• To improve communication between all the local shops would be a significant step forward and would present a united front against theft.

• Additional signage throughout the town warning thieves of Shopwatch as well as continued support from local bodies.

• A larger scale data-sharing agreement that allows more participants to get involved over a wider area.

Ultimately the success of Shopwatch will benefit the town as a whole, resulting in an even safer environment in which to live, work and spend leisure time.

A brighter, tighter Beverley and a shopping experience to be enjoyed by all. Beverley working together for a prosperous 2020.
