KEEPING THE WARM GLOW RIGHT THOUGH WINTER WITH AN OUTDOOR SOCKET!

With Christmas upon us and New Year hot on its heels, the last thing you want to be worrying about is whether your outdoor lighting is safe!

Outdoor lights are a sure-fire way to lift our mood during the dark mornings, cold days and wet weather we’re guaranteed to get this winter.

An enchanting Christmas Tree, brightly-lit figurines and warm glowing lights hung on branches all add to the spirit of the season. That said, using indoor sockets for outdoor lighting to brighten the evenings is far from safe, and it’s inconvenient too - letting the cold air in and the warm air out!

Instead, using an RCD-protected outdoor socket, which sits in a weather proof box is the safest way to plug in your outdoor appliances; this way you don’t need to worry whether its safe or whether your outdoor lighting will last the season!

It’s not just an investment for the winter either - a whole range of outdoor electricals are used throughout the year making life much easier (not to mention safer!) in the summer when you don’t have to use indoor sockets for garden or DIY appliances.

So, if you do intend putting up some outdoor lighting this winter, make sure you do so safely! Remember - loose wires do cause fires.
