Thu 8th August 2019
Bishop Burton College Png 1

There is much excitement that the Walled Garden at Bishop Burton College is to be open along with other Bishop Burton village gardens on August 18th.

The 1.5 acre Victorian Walled Garden, which dates from the 1860's,  was restored quite recently with the project taking over 2 years to develop into the garden which visitors will be able to admire on the 18th.

There are many other beautiful and charming gardens open in the village, all of which are within easy reach of the college car park, where visitors are invited to park, free of charge. The car park is accessible from the Village Entrance of the college.

Refreshments will be available in the village hall.

There are plant and pottery sales in the Village Hall and some of the gardens.

Proceeds go to the Friends of All Saints' Church, Bishop Burton, and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Trust.

Admission is £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free. The gardens are open between 1pm and 5pm.
