Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen, his partner Jasmine and other professional footballers' partners, who are known collectively as Ladies of League, are holding a charity event on Sunday 28th April in support of Hull charity, Life For A Kid.

Jasmine is the driving force behind Ladies of League, which has been launched to raise funds and awareness of  Life For A Kid. Their first event is an evening of 'Dinner and Darts' when you can get up close to many of the current Hull City players along with a couple of local boxing stars!

More used to kicking a football than throwing 'arrows', Jarrod Bowen, Robbie McKenzie, Eric Lichaj, Max Sheaf, Kamil Grosiki, Josh Tymon (Stoke player) and, hopefully, Reece Burke, Jackson Irvine and Fraizer Campbell will be standing on the oche with boxers Tommy Coyle and Connor Coghill as they compete for darts glory. Attendees will have the opportunity to win a game against the player or players of their choice!

Along with the darts and a 2-course dinner, there will be a disco and band, raffle, auction and lots of photo opportunities! Items include signed shirts and footballs and a special pair of Jarrod Bowen-signed boots. For Tigers fans, this is a must-go-to event!

Jasmine has a keen interest in raising funds for autistic children, after undertaking a 3-year English and Education degree, majoring and specialising in Special Educational Needs. This event will help to raise funds for the Life for a Kid Sensory Centre on Beverley Road, Hull, allowing Life For A Kid to continue to keep rooms available free-of-charge for families with members who have special educational needs and disabilities.

Life for a Kid was set up by Dean Hoggard in March 2009 with the aim of helping children under the age of 16 by offering funds and equipment, or operations, to help them lead a better life.  The Sensory Centre provides a calming environment  which has many benefits for children, especially those with special needs as it can, amongst others things, help to improve hand and eye co-ordination and develop language skills. The overactive child can be calmed, the inactive become interested. All young children can benefit from using a sensory room to develop fundamental sensory skills needed in later life.

The event is being held at Willerby Manor on Sunday April 28th from 7pm.

Tickets are £50 per head , but discounts are available for tables of 12 - contact Dean on dean@lifeforakid.com  or jasmineheather@hotmail.com  to book your tickets. Why not get together with a group of your mates to book your table - it will be a night to remember and in such a good cause. And don't forget your phone for those selfies!
