Beverley Town went into the game with 5 regular players missing, but were still able to field a strong squad due to the depth at the club.

After only 5 minutes Town took the lead when Ben Fletcher fired home from 16 yards after some great work by Joe Norton down the right flank. Reckitts responded well, and were level 15 minutes later when Alex Reverley volleyed home after a good flick on by Rich Medcalf.

Town were on top and causing problems for Reckitts. It was Alex Stark who caused the most trouble, winning a penalty in the Reckitts box after wriggling between two defenders, only to have his heels clipped. Michael O’Connell stepped up and calmly converted the penalty.  Town's skipper  added the third, Kurtis Bedford sliding in from 5 yards out, to make it 3-1 just before half time.

Town carried on the second half in the same vein. Again, Stark's energy and pace was causing problems for Reckitts' back line. A fantastic ball over the top from Kegan Rose was perfect for Stark, who bravely slotted home past the on-rushing keeper. Stark picked up an injury in the process and had to be substituted on 60 minutes, repacked by Aldo Hysenaj.

Jordan Organ added a 5th after some great work by Hysenaj down the right hand side and the Albanian made it 6-1 soon after with a neat finish following a one-on-one with the keeper .

Reckitts pulled one back after a looping header drifted in the corner. There was nothing keeper Ollie Thane could do about that one. The Jordan Organ made it 7-2 when Town, who were now attacking at will, broke down the right. The pull-back from Hysenaj was calmly converted by Jordan Organ. Full time Town 7-2 Reckitts.

Manager Rich Jagger said: "It was a great result and performance today. Congratulations to Ollie Thane and Declan Corlyon making their debuts. Kegan Rose was immense in midfield and Joe Norton had another great game. To be honest, I was delighted with everyone’s performance - another all round team effort! It was good to put a performance like that in against Reckitts, particularly after they beat us convincingly in the league not so long ago”
