'THREE EMOS' RETURNS TO HULL NEW THEATRE STUDIO

After two sell-out shows in June, brand new musical ‘Three Emos’ returns to Hull New Theatre’s studio on 4th October. 

This new, expanded edition by Smashing Mirrors Theatre, has been developed with this help of Dementia Friendly East Riding and Butterflies Memory Loss Support Group. It features three talented local actresses making their debuts! 

Smashing Mirrors Theatre was set up by Elizabeth Godber (who regularly contributes to Just Beverley!) as a vehicle to create new, acoustic musical theatre. 

Emos Ruth, Nat and Liv spend their days working dead-end jobs in Hull, and nights in Spiders and the Polar Bear. But an idea to start their own band soon gets out of hand, and before they know it, they’re playing every care home in the East Riding! Generations clash and come together in this uplifting tale of finding inspiration in the most unlikely of places.”
