A Level Students

Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart has congratulated local A-Level results students and wished them luck in their next adventures.

Graham commented: “With our Sixth Forms and Colleges achieving pass rates of over 75%, this year’s set of A-Level results are definitely something to celebrate. Students across Beverley and Holderness have done a fantastic job and are showing that when you work hard and put in the effort at school you can excel.

“I want to congratulate everyone who received their results yesterday, the wait is now over and the next exciting adventure in your life lies ahead of you. I wish you every success in whatever you do next, whether that is a University degree or the job you have been dreaming of. I am sure you will not only do yourself proud, but also our local community.

“However, if you did not receive the results you were hoping for please do not lose heart. There are numerous other avenues including work experience, apprenticeships and the possibility of retaking exams”.
