More Kids go Wild events in the East Riding countryside this summer

East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s countryside access team has arranged a programme of events and activities during the school summer holidays, as part of the Kids Go Wild 2018 programme.

The last two events in the programme are :

Pond Safari : Tuesday, 21 August :10am -12noon or 1.30pm -3.30pm : meet at Eastrington Ponds Local Nature Reserve, near Howden : go on safari and discover which creatures live in the pond. Take part in pond dipping and environmental art activities with wildlife artist Michele Davy. Teddy Bears’ Picnic : Thursday, 23 August :11.30am – 2.30pm : Humber Bridge Country Park Local Nature Reserve ,enter through the park entrance gate on Hessle Foreshore (next to the black mill), and follow the paw prints into the woods :an afternoon for teddies, toddlers and younger children. Meet the giant bear, and then try making a bear, try face painting, and enjoy the children’s entertainment.
