BEVERLEY YOUTH COALITION WEEKEND A HUGE SUCCESS

Four of Beverley's Councils came together over the weekend of March 24/25 to provide young people with a weekend of fun, activity and camaraderie!

Beverley Town Council, Molescroft Parish Council, Woodmansey Parish Council and East Riding of Yorkshire Council worked together to provide free food as well as a safe space for youngsters and their families to get involved in enjoying themselves and exploring new experiences. Operating as the Beverley Youth Coalition, this was a project championed by Cllr Rob Begnett whilst he was Beverley's Mayor and which came to fruition under his chairmanship.

The Weekender was based at Molescroft Pavilion on Saturday March 24th where there was a Rodeo Bull; face-painting; Sumo; silent disco; inflatables; cycling (with free cycling gear); road safety demos; football; darts and quizzes.  On Sunday, Let Loose! at Woodmansey opened its doors free to the first 60 bookings where adventure was the name of the game!

As you can see from the pictures, a great time was had by all and the plea went up to hold the Weekender next year!
