BEVERLEY STUDENTS PERFORM WITH G4

On Wednesday 6th December talented Performing Arts students from The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in Beverley were invited to perform with G4, as part of their Christmas by Candlelight Tour, who shot to fame on ITV’s first series of the X Factor in 2004 where they pioneered the world of ‘Popera’.

The amazing concert took place at Beverley Minister to a packed audience. The evening was a huge success and saw students performing with G4 on songs including: ‘Silent Night’, ‘O Holy Night’, ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, ‘Once In Royal David’s City’ and ‘O Little Town Of Bethlehem’. Students were chosen to perform their own songs ‘Sleigh Ride’ and ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’. 

Mike from G4 said “We were blown away with your talented choir! It was a pleasure having you all on board, and I hope we can do it again at some point.”

Principal James Aconley said “It was a huge honour being asked to perform with G4, students were thrilled (as were staff!) it was an amazing experience, one that I am sure students will remember for a lifetime.”
