Christmas Gift

Perfect Christmas Gift solutions - East Riding Archives are now on Zazzle

East Riding Archives now offers a selection of historic East Yorkshire images through the online gift-ordering website, Zazzle, and, with products ranging from homeware to tech accessories, there’s a vintage gift for everyone this Christmas.

Customers can browse the collections for high quality bespoke local history themed items such as cushions, tea towels, jigsaws, hip flasks, even smartphone cases and laptop covers.

Archivist Sam Bartle said: “It’s brilliant for us to be able to offer this kind of service to customers in the run-up to Christmas.  People take great pride in their past and value its historical interest. Being able to print historic images on to products allows the public to display their passion in a functional yet imaginative way.

“Choose from historic designs such as old Beverley on cushions; the launch of Bridlington lifeboat in 1900 on a jigsaw; or Flamborough Lighthouse as it was in 1910, etched onto a USB flash drive.  With an impressive range of stylish vintage shopping bags, you can also be seen with your own piece of the past."

The website can be found at www.zazzle.co.uk/eastridingarchives
