St Nicolas Schools Opens

The new St Nicholas School opened yesterday Monday November 6th.

Infant and primary school children who attend St Nicholas School are united on one site.

The shiny new school has been built to accommodate the 120 children from the Infants School, which will be knocked down to create the new school’s playing fields, and the children from the Junior School 300 plus children in total.

Head Teacher Mrs Pollard said: “It’s been a long-time coming and everyone is so excited! Having all the pupils together on one site will aid continuity and make life so much easier. The children have been able to watch and even visit the new school as it has been built - it is fantastic to be able to open the school and everyone move in.”
