Tour de Yorkshire 2016 starts in Beverley

Tens of thousands of people lined the streets of Beverley and surrounding areas to watch the riders start in the 2nd Tour de Yorkshire cycle race,185km from Beverley to Settle.

An action packed programme of events ensured that no one was left disappointed and even the sun came out to see the event unfold. The atmosphere was fantastic and Beverley demonstrated how everyone comes together put put on a great display. This event will be remember for many years to come. Sir Bradley Wiggins was presented with a birthday cake to ensure this was a day he remembered too!

Beverley can certainly be proud and put a display on to 100's of millions of people across the world.
