Tickton Charity Pre School May 18

Tickton Charity Pre-school won £10,000 in our Bags of Help customer vote in November 2016. The school used the grant to improve their school garden and have now completed the work. On 26th April we visited the school to see the difference the grant has made and to meet some of the children who will benefit as a result.

School Manager Helen Turner said: ‘Tickton Pre-school would like to thank Tesco customers for their support and voting for our community garden project. The project has now been successfully completed and is looking smashing. Our children are making good use of their wonderful new outdoor classroom.’

Tesco’s Bags of Help project has already delivered over £48 million to over 10,000 local community projects up and down the UK. The scheme is permanently open for applications from schools, sports clubs and community groups.
