This Weeks Entertainment From The East Riding Theatre

Working hard to maintain the sense of community despite the lockdown the East Riding Theatre have announced this weeks entertainment!

From Monday to Sunday the East Riding Theatre's social media channels will be engaging with you to bring you a variety of activities and entertainment to the comfort of your own living room. This will be their format throughout April ... and for the month of May? Well that really depends on you!

If you're enjoying their program then please let them know, and if you have new suggestions then do get in touch. The theatre is open to your ideas and want to put out content that allows you to feel part of their theatre again.

Sunday

If you missed the first #Sonnets&SpeechesOnSundays don't fret - you can catch up by scrolling down the East Riding Theatre's Facebook and Instagram pages. This is what you missed...

Julia, Act 4 scene 4 from "The Two Gentlemen of Verona" performed by Avita Jay
Sonnet 119 performed by Dyfrig Morris
"7 ages of woman" performed by Jess Duffield

They also shared a monologue from Young Playwrights - scripts written by children, performed by professional actors.

Monday

Monday will be a day for re-balancing and taking time to be grateful for the things we can be at the moment. They will be sharing yoga videos, guided meditations and most importantly some deep breathing techniques. Learning to breathe deeply in a controlled way is even more crucial at the moment as doctors are advising this will help your body if you should happen to get ill, but it is also very calming and an excellent tool to help manage any worries. You'll all sleep well on Monday nights from now on!

Tuesday

On Tuesday's the theatre will be sharing all the fabulous content from She Productions from stories to craft activities, and this Friday 10th April at 3pm on the She Productions Facebook page you can watch a live virtual version of their Easter show Alice's Eggstravaganza in Wonderland. If you miss it live, don't worry... they'll be sharing it next #HomeSchoolTuesday!

Wednesday

Keep an eye out today for more ART@ERT with Emma Garness and there are a couple of tasty meals for you to try at home if you are looking for some food inspiration!

Friday

Coming up this Friday on Facebook they have another hilarious installment of The Twilight Radio Show. Lupe Lu and Stewy Stu present another great show featuring a 'Twilight Short':

Saturday
