The Virger and the Devil Team Up at Monk's Walk

The Monk’s Walk in Highgate Beverley are serving food as of August 1st as cook, Ian Ibbetson joins licensee Neil Pickford’s staff.

Neil is well-known in Beverley through his previous role as Virger at Beverley Minster, whilst Ian runs Chilli Devil Sauces.

Ian is delighted to be the new Head Saucerer at Monk’s Walk, spinning up some magic in the kitchen and delivering good traditional pub food along with world foods.

Neil told Just Beverley: “Things are going really well in the bar with the range of traditional ales and other drinks we have available - with no wi-fi. Food will be served in a different room to keep the pub feel and to attract more people back to the Monk’s Walk. It has been here for over 750 years and deserves to be a regular haunt for Beverley people!”
