Shape up for Summer

Wed 11th June 2014

With the hope of better weather just around the corner, now could be the time to “Shape up for Summer.”

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has launched a three-month leisure centre membership for just £60 with its new “Shape up for Summer” offer.

This new offer entitles participants to three months’ unlimited access to the tone zone fitness suite, swimming and all classes including Bodypump, Body Balance and Body Combat, at Beverley Leisure Complex.

The offer is available to anyone over the age of 14 years and participants need to sign up by 31 July 2014.

Once participants have signed up for the “Shape up for Summer” offer they will automatically be enrolled on a health plus programme. They will receive expert advice and support from East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s health and fitness staff on all aspects of exercise, healthy eating and lifestyle change, as they will automatically join the Health Plus programme.

After signing up, participants can enter a free prize draw to win a free month’s membership after Shape up for Summer has finished.

Councillor Richard Burton, portfolio holder for civic wellbeing and culture, said: “This offer is an excellent way for people in the East Riding to make the most of the Leisure Centres this summer, and I’m sure it will prove very popular.”
