We headed over to Sham Alom's new restaurant, Rumi's, located in the newly renovated NFU building.

The space available meant that Sham could create the ambiance which makes his Indian and Bengali Restaurant welcoming, friendly and homely. Sham wants to ensure this feel extends to the service levels enjoyed by his customers by welcoming them as friends and neighbours, treating them with warmth and respect so that every individual feels like the most important person in the room.

At last night's grand opening, Edward Waterson was the lucky winner from a local school to cut the ribbon and let the hungry diners in.

Messages of support to Sham and his team have been overwhelming, he already feels a great responsibility to the town to ensure they keep things moving forward have many ideas to achieve these goals.

Located in Beverley's central circuit, with parking outside the door, Rumi's is sure to rapidly become a Beverley destination venue.
