Return of the Beverley Fun Run and Beverley 10K

Sunday 26th September welcomed the return of the Beverley Fun Run and Beverley 10k after a 17 month wait.

The conditions were almost perfect for East Yorkshire's Premier 10k Road Running Race, the atmosphere was incredible, and the volunteers put on a fantastic event.

There were families getting involved with both the Fun Run and the more serious 10k race, and everyone whether participating or watching had a great morning in Beverley.  enjoyed the delights the local hospitality had to offer.

The Fun Run had a new course of approximately 2k around Beverley Town Centre. Starting in Wednesday Market, it took runners round two laps of the town centre via Walkergate, Dyer Lane, Saturday Market and Toll Gavel to finish back in Wednesday Market. The 10k started alongside Beverley Minster.

Jonathan Carter won the 10k with a time of 32.25
2nd Timmy Davies - 32.42
3rd Joseph Kirkup - 33.11
First Lady home Georgina Weston - 37.54

The 2022 event will return to its regular slot in May next year, with the entries opening in February.
