Pupils to see a BIG Difference

Fri 13th June 2014

Pupils at Beverley Minster Primary and Keldmarsh Primary will have lessons in healthy eating and physical activity – thanks to an innovative form of drama.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s public health team has organised a series of Change4Life BIG Difference performances in local schools during the week starting Monday 23 June.

The BIG Difference is an interactive performance which promotes the key Change4Life messages by encouraging pupils to eat more healthily and increase their physical activity levels.

It uses a form of drama known as ‘theatre in education’ to address the health messages in a new and enthusiastic way, followed by a workshop to discuss what the children have learned. Parents are encouraged to attend the performances.
