On Monday 8th August 2016, pub chain Daniel Thwaites revealed their plans for The Beverley Arms Hotel after buying it February this year.

The plans were revealed at a public exhibition at St. Mary's Church, Beverley. Where there were mood boards with all renovation plans on.

The multi- million pound plans consist of an interesting conversion of the 18th century Beverley Arms Hotel, with 38 bedrooms, a restaurant and bar. The plans are to demolish the 1960's rear extension, which will be sent to the East Yorkshire Council next week. Although, with this demolition, it will introduce a view of St. Mary's Church when going to the town via the racecourse, which hasn't been available for many years. The plans also involve improving the courtyard and to reconfigure the ground floor which will introduce an informal bar and a formal dining area.

It is exciting to see what Thwaites have in store for this iconic building.
