East Riding College is holding a series of open events for people who are thinking about starting further or higher education from September.

The open events are aimed at young people and adults who are considering BTEC diplomas, A-levels, apprenticeships, degrees and other courses giving them an opportunity to find out more.

The open events will give prospective students the chance to meet with tutors, discuss course options and hve a look around East Riding College's well-equipped and modern campus.

There will also be the opportunity to find out about the new East Riding College Beverley campus, which opens in September.

Principle Derek Branton said "Our open events are an opportunity to meet our friendly and knowledgable tutors and guidance staff, consider your options and look at our excellent facilities. Come along, whether you know what you want to do and simply want to find out more, or if you need to talk to someone about your future direction."

The three events will be held:

  • Tuesday 30th June, 4pm to 7pm, Gallows Lane, Beverley.
  • Tuesday 30th June, 4pm to 7pm, St James Street, Hull. (Please note: this open event is specifically for music and performing arts courses)
  • Tuesday 7th July, 4pm to 7pm, St Mary's Walk, Bridlington.

Tutors from all curriculum areas will be available to answer questions and chat about the courses, as well as help with completing application forms.
