Pets

This month has been very busy with pet owners going on holiday, which has given me the opportunity to spend time with some awesome pets!

The health of my clients is very important, and ensuring their health conditions are monitored and cared for whilst their owners are away is paramount. A few of my clients have had vet appointments booked during my stay and I’ve supported my clients through both minor and major incidents and had the responsibility of their aftercare. Recent experiences have included caring for wounds and ensuring good healing, and supporting clients with diabetes, which included administering injections!

All my experiences build my expertise and enhance my skill set and keep each day quite different from the next. I work hard to ensure these pets are cared for - it makes the experience of the change in pack leader easier for them to understand. I’ve also had lots of dog walking activities to attend to and for this I quite frequently use the Molescroft and Walkington secure dog walking fields, more so when I have more challenging dogs to walk.

Both the secure fields as well as Beverley Westwood fields provide spacious environments where dogs both old and young can roam freely - something that is good for their health but which the dogs absolutely love! The Westwood has an endless choice of walks for all ages too. The onset of November brings me some free time in which I will be making meet and greet appointments as well as catching up with regulars!
