N.U.R.S.E CHARITY RAFT RACE 2016

The N.U.R.S.E. Charity held their fifth Annual Raft Race, on the Beverley Beck, Beverley, East Yorkshire, on Saturday 30th July 2016.

The N.U.R.S.E. Charity were delighted with all the entrants and the efforts that have gone into making such fantastic vessels.The Raft Race has become increasingly important to the charity fund raising efforts.  

Teams dressed up in fancy dress on the day and having spent months perfecting the rafts they all looked to beat the times set in previous years and become the out right champions. Everyone was competitive and yet had a great time, for those that stayed a float it was a great relief. 

Whilst the competitors worked hard navigating the course, the spectators enjoyed the good food and ice-cream in the hot weather. With craft stalls, face painting and live music everyone had a great time in the carnival atmosphere with crowds on both sides of the Beck cheering them on.
