'Make-a-Will' week runs from February 5th - 9th. To encourage more people to make a will and to help Beverley Community Lift (BCL), 3 Beverley solicitors have agreed to waive their fees in return for a donation to the charity.

James Legal, Wilkin, Chapman and Williamsons have generously agreed to waive their fees* for people making a will during 'Make-a-Will' week. Instead of charging their usual fee, will-makers will be given an envelope in which they can place their donation.

Marie Louise Rose, Bid Writer and Marketing at BCL said, "One of our older buses is in desperate need of replacement and every pound we can raise at the moment is going towards this. We are delighted that James Legal, Wilkin & Chapman and Williamsons have agreed to help us in this way. It is so important to have a will and hopefully this will encourage more people to make a will."

BCL is a community transport charity which has been serving the community for over 45 years. It offers a caring, voluntary service for people who cannot easily use other forms of transport, e.g. elderly, disabled or anyone who is rurally isolated. It helps both individuals and community groups to get out and about and improve their quality of life. It relies on volunteers and donations to keep them on the road. It runs a fleet of buses as well as a relying on volunteers to use their own cars to take people who need a lift to medical appointments, shopping, events, work and more.
