After only one year in business, Aaron and Debbie Gilpin of La Lumière Photography have won a Five Star Rating from The Xperience Group for the quality of the overall experience they offer their customers. Only 9 studios out of a total of 90 photographic studios from across the UK have been given this accolade, which are graded on everything from the standard of photography, to the cleanliness of the studio to the customer service.
Mark Cleghorn, a well-known figure in the world of photography with a long list of awards and accreditations to his name, says the new scheme offers customers reassurance of the quality and creativity of the prize-winners, as well as the customer service offered. He is now Head of Xperience training, which seeks to introduce a standardised system of recognising and rewarding photographers’ quality so clients will know exactly what type of service they can expect from their chosen photographer. At the same time, Xperience Group aims to push its photographers’ skills to even greater levels. As Mark said: “We are so proud to award Aaron Gilpin and his team our highest award in their first year. It is only given to those who excel in everything and represents the highest level of quality. From the quality of photography and lighting, the layout and cleanliness of the studio space and viewing room, the clarity and variety of their price list, the range of products on offer, the quality of literature and branding, signage, first impressions - even the quality of the bathroom facility, La Lumière cannot be faulted”
But as well as the 5 Star Award, Aaron also won Boudoir Photographer of the Year with a stunning portrait. Aaron said: “I was delighted my image won the boudoir category. My approach is to make boudoir more accessible with modern, fresh images, to make it a really special experience for any woman.”
