Catch up over a cuppa, enjoy some gorgeous treats – and the money you raise at your Coffee Morning will help Macmillan make sure no one has to face cancer alone.

As well as helping with the medical needs of people affected by cancer, Macmillan also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care. Macmillan Cancer Support's goal is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer in the UK (Wikipedia)

Macmillan know how a cancer diagnosis can affect everything. So they are here to support help people affected take back some control in their lives. From help with money worries and advice about work, to someone who’ll listen if you just want to talk, they're here.

There are several Macmillan coffee mornings taking place in Beverley and district.  The Tiger Inn, Lairgate, will be holding a coffee morning from 11am - 3pm, with Just Beverley's support. Beverley Tourist Information, Inches on Norwood, Norwood Methodist Church and The Church in Tickton also have coffee mornings on Friday morning, while Walkington Methodist Church will be enjoying afternoon tea. Whoever thought eating cake could be so enjoyable and yet so valuable!
