IWD belongs to everyone, everywhere. This years theme is “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”.
IWD as observed by The United Nations, recognizes and celebrates the women and girls who are championing the advancement of transformative technology and digital education.
IWD 2023 has a theme to go forward and understand what impact the digital gender gap is having on widening economic and social inequalities.
IWD 2023 will raise the importance of protecting the rights of women and girls in digital spaces and addressing online and ICT-facilitated gender-based violence.
Bringing women into technology allows for more creative solutions that meet women’s needs and promote gender equality.
