As Hunters celebrated their fifth year the renovations, ongoing for the past 18 months, are looking to be completed in 2020. The property down Hengate, which was bought with a view to renovate, is being sympathetically restored in conjunction with planning from the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

Some exterior structural work has already been completed and the team, who are committed to using local tradesmen including builders, plasterers, plumbers, electricians and painters, have almost finished the downstairs refurbishment, which is the hub of activity for the estate agency.

Leanne Marshall, MNAEA and director leads the team which includes Anthony Sherwin (MARLA), Lettings Coordinator, Melanie Hammond (MNAEA), Sales Negotiator and Ellie Fanshaw Sales Negotiator, who is also en-route to achieving MNAEA status.

And, let’s not forget their apprentice PR Manager Casper the Dog!

The company are dedicated to giving back to the community. They have been involved with St Mary’s bike ride, the annual Beverley Raft Race, children’s football as well as other community events.

Leanne has been heavily engaged with the Beverley Chamber of Trade, organising the Annual Ball and commissioning the Beverley Building Society / SSAFA memorial bench that is located, pride of place, overlooking the Minster. Hunters have also sponsored the Beverley Barge pull, and have previously run Christmas competitions with one local family winning a Nintendo Switch!

Promotional activities have also had the local community in mind with de-icers, umbrellas and car sunscreens being part of the giveaway, and have even included celebratory inflatable tubes for the children supporting the Tour de Yorkshire.

Hunters are an award winning estate agent, and this year have won the British Property Awards Gold Standard. They are experienced in the rental and sale of properties ranging from a value of £80,000 to exclusive homes worth in excess of £1 million.

In 2020 Hunters want to be known as the peoples’ estate agent for a stress free move, ensuring property is bought and sold at its true value. Hunters have the appropriate accreditations and ensure professional ethics throughout the process of buying and selling whilst all the time maintaining a healthy communication with their clients.

Meanwhile the renovations continue, and whilst the downstairs is almost complete, the first and second floors will be two 2-bedroom luxury apartments for Hunters’ clients (both vendors and buyers) to use as a stop gap between properties, which will greatly relieve some of the pressure and stress associated with moving.

Look out for Hunters innovative ideas for 2020 - thinking outside the box whilst always having the customer and the community in mind!
