HAPPY BIRTHDAY STIPENDIA!

Stipendia recently celebrated its 6th birthday! Each year has been a milestone for the Beverley-based payroll solutions company as they have continued to provide their clients with the highest standards of service, delivering a complete outsourced payroll solution.

‘Stipendia’ is Latin and means ‘pay’ or ‘salary’, but there’s so much more to the company than simply delivering a pay slip at the end of the month.

So what is the modern day Stipendia? Based in Swaby’s Yard, Beverley, the Stipendia serves over 200 customers across the UK, including London, Manchester and the North East.

Part of the Finnies Group, Stipendia’s first employee was Lynne Auton, who was appointed as operations director in 2013.

From there, four more employees were quickly recruited to service the expanding business.

Today the staff force has doubled to eight, demonstrating the rapid speed of growth. In addition to providing payroll solutions, Stipendia is an active part of the community.

Over the past six years, the company has raised money for Beverley Barge Preservation Society, Alzheimer’s and Go Kids Go as well as other charitable causes.

Funds raised really help to make a difference to those living in the local area. And it’s not just charity that the company supports.

The local football team, Barton Town, part of the NCEL Premier Division, have benefitted from Stipendia’s sponsorship over the past three years. As a professional team, Barton Town have aspirations to fire their way up the ranks and all the support is warmly received.

It’s been an eventful six years, which have truly flown by. But here’s to a further six and more - continuing to contribute to the local economy and provide unrivalled support to clients across the country.
