Christmas Message from Graham Stuart MP

What a year it’s been. It feels like yesterday that I was writing last year’s Christmas messages, which was itself after a frenzied general election period. Who could have possibly predicted what would happen next?

Although Covid-19 has caused countless hardships for the people of Beverley and Holderness, this Christmas will be a chance to focus on the positives. 

Many of us will be able to celebrate with our loved ones, and the emergence of several promising vaccines has finally given us a light at the end of this longest of tunnels. Most of all, I’ve been truly inspired by countless examples of East Yorkshire grit and community spirit as people have gone out of their way to help those in need.

So as we look ahead to a brighter and better 2021, I’d like to raise a glass to my fantastic, resilient constituents. A very merry Christmas (a very happy New Year) to one and all.
