Join in and Help the Ukrainian volunteers Celebrate - Independence Day of Ukraine

To celebrate the Independence Day of Ukraine, the Ukrainian volunteers from Beverley are organising a fundraising event at the Armstrong Centre, this Saturday 26th August from 10am to 2pm.

To help support the the cause you will have the opportunity to donate by buying / trying something new from the home baked Ukrainian food & handmade souvenirs sale, display of Ukrainian traditional clothes and jewellery.

All of the proceeds will go to humanitarian aid for Ukraine; food and cakes will be baked by Ukrainian volunteers from Beverley, Pocklington, Market Weighton, Tickton and other East Riding towns and villages and Hull.

On display and to buy will be handmade traditional Ukrainian dolls all made by the volunteers, it could make an ideal gift for a friend to cheer them up an support the local event.  

This Saturday at "The Armstrong Centre, Flemingate, 26th August, from 10:00 am till 2 pm.
