Capturing Your Voice In Adult Safeguarding

East Riding Safeguarding Adults Board (ERSAB) is holding an event for residents to find out more about the work of the Board, and for people to give their views on the work taking place to safeguard adults.

Anyone with an interest in safeguarding can attend, including people who work with or support adults who have care and support needs, people who have lived experience of the safeguarding process or those with adult caring responsibilities.

Kay Durrant, Chair of the East Riding Safeguarding Adults Board said: “We are inviting people to tell us what they think about what we do. We want to hear from people about what is working well and where things could be improved to protect adults across the East Riding. It is also a chance for residents to see how they could get involved in our work.”

The ERSAB is made up of several organisations working together to prevent abuse including East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Humberside Police, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, the Probation Service, Healthwatch, Carers Advisory Group and Community VISION.

The event takes place on Friday 23 February, 10am to 3pm, at Beverley Enterprise Centre, Beck View Road, HU17 0JT. To book a place email: ersab@eastriding.gov.uk by Thursday 15 February.
