Beverley Youth Festival is next weekend (March 24/25)

As a part of Longcroft student Holly Shore-Horst's involvement in the 2016 Humberside Police's Lifestyle Project, she and four friends appealed to the local councils to arrange more things for the 9+ age group to do in the Beverley area.  Because of their hard work they were jointly awarded a Young Person's Award from the then Mayor of Beverley, Cllr Rob Begnett.

Holly, who is now in Year 8, went on to be a part of the Beverley Youth Coalition, and along with the other four girls put forward the suggestion of holding a Youth Festival.  Their efforts have paid off and the first Beverley Youth "WEEKENDER" will take place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th March.
