Beverley Parklands was opened in 2017 and has been rated as one of the best care homes in the country.  The CQC found it to be outstanding for its care, responsiveness and leadership.

Graham Stuart, MP for Beverley and Holderness, popped in to see the residents at Beverley Parklands Care Home following the award. He said: “I was delighted to be able to congratulate the Manager, Miss Robyn Cross, and to hear more about Beverley Parklands’ ethos. My favourite bit of the visit was chatting to residents in the Haven Unit. It must be frightening to live with dementia but the residents I met seemed to take pleasure from life and I was thrilled to see their smiling faces. I was impressed with the on-site facilities the residents can enjoy – in particular the in-house cinema and the street-scenes area. Congratulations to the staff who are clearly doing a great job caring in an outstanding way for some of the most vulnerable members of society.”

Miss Robyn Cross, Beverley Parklands Care Home Manager commented “It was lovely to see Graham with the residents; he’s clearly got a way with the elderly and I could see they very much enjoyed chatting to him. We all do the absolute best we can to make our residents’ lives as fulfilling as possible. I was pleased to show Graham around the Haven Unit and show him some of our state-of-the-art equipment, developed by dementia specialists, which helps residents live with their dementia.”
