Local artists Jane Beharrell and Myles Linley have donated work to an online exhibition which features 100 pieces of artwork which are for sale at £100 each. It's called '100 for 100' and all proceeds will be going to New Light. The charity will use the cash they make to introduce people regardless of age and ability to the pleasure of viewing and creating contemporary art.

Emerson Mayes, CEO of New Light, said that this exhibition will make it easy for anyone to purchase an original, quality piece of artwork - which could make an ideal Christmas present! He said:

“We’re encouraging everyone to check out what’s available sooner rather than later, as once something’s gone, it’s gone!
Every purchase made will support our ‘Art for All’ projects which include helping children to be creative in the classroom at a time when art is struggling to retain its place in the school curriculum.”

The first 50 works will be available to view at   http://newlight-art.org.uk/great-art-at-a-great-price-for-a-great-cause/  and previews from November 14th.

The sale will commence a few days later at 9am on 18th November 2106. All works purchased will be delivered before Christmas.
