Burton Agnes Hall is thrilled to announce that its gardens, grounds and woodland with adventure playground will open daily from Saturday 14th November. The Government has confirmed that public gardens can remain open during the second lockdown period to enable exercise and recreation in fresh air. This opening enables local people to enjoy the great outdoors while maintaining social distance and meeting current guidelines.

The woods are awash with golden colour, and apples and pears are ripening on espaliered trees. Visitors can venture out for a crisp walk, with leaves crunching underfoot, and enjoy the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness at Burton Agnes Hall. Here it is possible to marvel at the colour spectrum in the falling leaves, watch for wildlife and celebrate the changing hues, sounds and smells all around.

Burton Agnes Hall will be serving takeaway spiced hot drinks, great coffee, wood fired pizzas, and home baked treats to enjoy in the grounds. Plants raised in the Walled Garden will be sold on nursery benches.

Burton Agnes Hall has introduced online booking via www.burtonagnes.com to manage capacity carefully to enable social distancing. Allowance has been made for Burton Agnes Hall Members to come and go freely without booking.

Open daily from 11am-3pm, 14th November to 23rd December 2020

Entrance charges: Adults £8.00, OAPs £7.50, Children (4-15 years) £5.50, under 4 year olds free.
