Amy Hedges from cba Accountants is celebrating passing her final exams to become a fully qualified ACCA accountant.

Amy joined the practice as a trainee apprentice and has spent the last seven years learning on the job and studying hard.

She said: "It's very exciting to become a qualified accountant. Over the last seven years, I have learned so much, but now I feel like my career can really get underway.

"As well as looking after my own clients, I will also be taking on some of the higher-end audits."

Chris Brown, director of cba, said: At cba we like to buck the trend of the stereotypical accountant and Amy is a great example of a non-typical accountant. She is a fantastic member of the team and our clients really enjoy working with her too.

"I am delighted that Amy is now qualified and will enjoy seeing her grow further in her new position."
